 PLANNING YOU VISIT

Get the most out of your holiday and plan your days.

Theme parks are generally less crowded Monday - Friday. Weekends and bank holidays usually attract larger crowds.

In our experience mid-day can be the busiest; try to arrive early if possible. You can get your hand stamped and leave early in the afternoon, rest up, and then return later when many people have left.  If you leave a theme park and are going to return the same day, keep your parking ticket so you do not have to pay to park the car again. You have plenty of time to come back to the villa, freshen up and go back to enjoy the firework displays.

The hours of operation may be different depending on the day of the week and theme park.

At the Disney theme parks, some rides offer "Fast-Passes" which will allow you to come back at an allocated time and enter the ride without waiting in the general line.

If the most popular rides are busy, consider less popular ones for a while, eat or enjoy a show.  Shows and exhibits can often be enjoyed without  long waits.

Guest relations is located near the entrance of each park. Stop if you are in need of additional assistance. At Guest Relations there are additional schedules and maps in different languages. You can make dinner or lunch reservations for the more popular restaurants.  Don't  forget to book for breakfast or dinner with the Disney characters. Kids will love this and there is plenty of opportunity to take photographs. Kids also love collecting autographs and its useful to get one before meeting the disney characters who wander around the park.

If you bring a rucksack, you may wish to take some snacks as well. This will save you waiting in the queues and keep the children from fretting for food and drink. It is useful to carry drinks and a bottle that you can refill with water during the day.  Don't forget the sunblock, sunglasses and hats.  Almost all the supermarkets sell Disney themed products.

The season tickets last a life time and so if you feel like doing something else, you can still use the tickets on your next visit.
